But close enough to town to drive. If you are looking for a park model or camper already settled in a NJ campground you are in luck! Here is a list of campgrounds that have park model or campers available. If you like to walk: we walked to the Parkway almost every morning: great hike. Washrooms are clean and laundry facilities. Everyone was very friendly in the park from staff to Patrons. Our site was a good size for us with 2 bikes and a truck and 25 foot trailer. We backed into the park land / baseball diamonds and twice a week they cut the grass and our vehicle and motorcycles/motorcycle covers/ patio/trailer were covered in fine grass clippings blowing the whole time they cut onto Our site. The site beside us had low trees and the coaches struggled to get in without being worried about scratching there machines. If you have a motor-coach ask about trees. We tried this place for the first time this year as our usual stay was booked in October! Always nice to try something new! We loved it! It’s half the price of where we stayed before. If you just need a place to park your camper and plan to spend time away from the campground during your stay, then this campground would suit your needs. Overall, my advice is - if you are looking for a campground that you intend on spending some time at during your stay AND/OR you are looking for a place that offers more than just a place to park overnight, then plan ahead and schedule in advance for another campground. 647 Wears Valley Rd Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 86 Reservations: 88 Official Website. We own a range extender that reaches up to 2 miles (w/o obstructions) and even it had issues staying connected at this campground. NOTE: To be fair and honest, in our experience, many campgrounds have internet connectivity issues mostly depending upon location from any available hotspots. We were located just about 6 sites away from the main office and still had internet connection issues. Kings Holly Haven RV park's WI-FI is almost as bad. Cell Phone reception (3G/4G on Sprint/T-Mobile) is already unreliable in the area despite full bars. We are travelers and home-school our daughter. BUT, if internet is a need or a strong desire, this campground will leave you frustrated/disappointed. Kings Holly Haven RV Park Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. 2475 Henderson Springs Rd Pigeon Forge, TN 37863. INTERNET: I know many people don't camp with intentions of getting or staying online. 3/10 mile and Creekside RV Park is the second campground on your right. TIP: If you MUST stay here, try to stay clear of the border (treeline) between the campground and park. Unfortunately, if you are set up anywhere near that park, you will have to deal with noise of footballs games (when in season), early morning lawn mowers, leaf blowers and traffic just on the other side of the treeline. Fortunately, the campground is located next to a park with multiple playgrounds located on it. FOR CAMPERS WITH KIDS: They have a very small playground best suited for maybe 3 kids at a time. There is no way they can fix that unless they do away with a few sites and expand. SIZE: As many of the other reviews have stated, the sites are very small. The convenience of nearby attractions is what makes it a consideration. First of all, Kings Holly Haven RV resort is more of a place to "park your camper with a pad" than a place of substance (though there are concrete pads to set up your chair(s) and they include a picnic table w/ some including a grill as well). Please keep in mind, this is simple honest review from my perspective and not meant to be spiteful in any way. It is our 2nd stay because there were no other vacancies at any other campgrounds. My family and I have frequented many campgrounds in the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area over the years and this is our LEAST favorite.
